Gants Hill, Roll Gardens:

• Sparrowhawk being tailed by 10 Swifts.

Roding Valley Park, south:

• Little Egret feeding
• Two Jays (together)
• Greenfinch several
• Mallard - one female with 6 offspring (PGordon)

Wanstead Flats:

• (07:00-11:00):
• Common Sandpiper (briefly on Alexandra Lake),
• Nuthatch (heard in wood behind the Esso garage - patch mega),
• 35 Cormorant,
• 13 Mistle Thrush,
• 9 Ring Necked Parakeet,
• 7 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Green Woodpecker,
• 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Black-headed Gull, Common Gull, Herring Gull,
• c.150 Carrion Crows on the playing fields, Jay, Magpie, Jackdaw,
• 5 House Martin, 1 Sand Martin, c.30+ Swift,

• Little Grebe with young on Shoulder of Mutton Pond (JCharter)
• 8 Chiffchaff, 10+ Blackcap, Whitethroat,

• 2 Collared Dove, 1 Stock Dove,
• 2 Sparrowhawk,
