Wren: Resident Breeding Bird (Common)

Wrens are common in all the parks, woodlands and gardens in the borough. Severel hundred pairs are thought to breed here.

Historical Breeding Stats: (incomplete)

• 2006: 89 singing males in Wanstead Park (20th May)
