• 3 Great Crested Grebe
• 3 Pochard (2m, 1f)

Gants Hill, Roll Gardens:

• Swallow (over pond) (AThomas)

Knighton Woods:

• Nuthatch (DEH)

Roding Valley Park, central:

• Reed Bunting (very good views of singing male),
• 2 Whitethroat, 3 Blackcap (pair in one place, and singing male elsewhere), Chiffchaff,
• 2 Song Thrush. (Alan Hobson)

Valentines Park:

• pr Mute Swans + 8 cygnets on the baoting lake, additional pair on Long Water/Fish Pond
• Greylag Goose hybrid, plenty of Canada Geese (no sign of the Egyptian Goose today)
• Mallards, Tufted Ducks, no sign of any Pochard today though.
• pair of Great Crested Grebe on the boating lake (nesting)
• 3 Grey Heron Chicks (fully grown)
• Moorhen, Coot
• Feral Pigeon, 2 Stock Dove, Woodpigeons, 1 Collared Dove
• 3 Ring Necked Parakeet flew NW-SE over the Mansion at 15.22hrs
• 5 Swift
• Wren, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird, Mistle Thrush
• Blue Tit, Great Tit, 3 Long Tailed Tit
• 3 House Sparrow, Chaffinch, 2 Greenfinch, 1 Goldfinch

• Kingfisher on the Ornamentals this morning.
