LITTLE EGRET

Little Egret: 1 or 2 Resident, others visit or fly over.

Little Egrets have now established residential status in the borough, as sightings are becoming increasingly common, especially along the River Roding, but they have also been seen in Fairlop Waters, Wanstead Park and in Hatch Forest and Whitehall Plain along the River Ching.
