Historical Information:

  • in 2003, the late Mike Dennis reported Tree Pipits as being a 'former breeding bird' in Hainault Forest.
  • In the 1997 edition of Dominic Mitchells 'where to watch birds in the London area' it states that Tree Pipits retain a 'token breeding presence'
