Long Tailed Tit, Wanstead Park - Feb 2010 (JLethbridge) Long Tailed Tits are common in all the parks and woodland areas in the borough, numbers swell during the winter. Listing all the sighings would be impossible.

- In the 1997 edition of Dominic Mitchells 'where to watch birds in the London area' it states breeding Long Tailed Tits were 'widespread in Hainault Forest
