Wanstead Flats:

• Yellowhammer circled calling and came to rest in hawthorn in broomfield (patch tick for Tim), still around at c.11:30,
• Brambling, 20 Chaffinch, 13 Greenfinch, 3 Goldfinch, Lesser Redpoll, 7 Reed Bunting, 5 singing Goldcrest, Chiffchaff, 4 Skylark, 14 Meadow Pipit, 2 Pied Wagtail, 5 Cormorant, 200+ Starling (north west), 8 Redwing, 2 Fieldfare, 10+ Blackbird, 3 SongThrush, Mistle Thrush, Robin, 14+ Ring Necked Parakeet, Green and Great Spoteed Woodpecker, 3 Shoveler (1m), pr Pochard, 4 Tufted Duck (1m), Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Little Owl (h) (Tim Harris/NC).
