- Willow Warbler (Alex), Chiffchaff, Blackcap (brief burst of song behind Alex), many Whitethroats,
- 14 Sand Martin (south), 3 Swallow (s), c. 10 House Martin (staying put), c. 40 Swift (over the whole area),
- 4 Kestrel (2 Alex, 2 Long Wood), m Sparrowhawk (across SSI),
- 6 Mistle Thrush, Green Woodpecker and Spotted Woodpeckers with young,
- 51 Cormorant (over),
- Also: Jackdaw, Jay, Magpie, C. Crow, c. 20+ Greenfinch, Chaffinch, 3 Goldfinch, 1 Linnet, 25 Ring necked Parakeet, no sign of the Shoveler on Alex, c. 100+ Black-headed Gull, 15 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Greater Black-backed Gull (east), 3 Herring Gull, Skylark and Meadow Pipit (who don't get up at dawn), 49 species and whilst not quite mega enough, par. 4 foxes (Nick Croft).
