Wanstead Flats:
  • Dartford Warbler, still in same area seemed to be associating with Stonechats this am 8.15 am (JP Elmes).

Wanstead Park:

  • In Reservoir Wood - 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker,
  • Treecreeper,
  • 40+ Long Tailed Tits, 20 Blue Tit, 30+ Great Tit, 1 Coal Tit,
  • 8 Jays (J Lethbridge).
  • 20 Little Grebe (16 on The Basin),
  • 4 Great-crested Grebe (The Basin),
  • 24 Gadwall, 12 Pochard, 24 Tufted Duck,
  • 1 Kingfisher over Shoulder of Mutton pond,
  • 96 Coot (S . Fisher)
Woodford Green:
  • Mistle Thrush on Broadmead Estate
Fairlop:
  • Kestrel on a lamp column on Forest Road near Fairlop Waters CP entrance
Fairlop Gravel Works:
  • 2 Mute Swan, 33 Canada Geese
  • Mallard, Tufted Duck, Gadwall, Shoveler, 10 Teal, Coot, Moorhen
  • Water Rail
  • 1 Woodcock, 100+ Lapwing, 15 Snipe
  • Party of Long Tailed Tits,
  • Song Thrush
  • 2 Kestrels, 1 over Hargreaves field, and one on Painters Road
  • Little Owl calling
  • Jays fighting in the trees that line Hargreaves
  • Several Hares in the field between the Gravel Works, and Hargreaves
  • Fox in the same field as the hares
  • Pipistrelle Bat
