Gants Hill:
  • Swift over Beehive Lane (7am) (JMakengo)
  • **White Stork** flying north west (towards Wodford Avenue) at 3.30 (Alan Thomas) (ps... as far is a know of, this is the first sighting of a White Stork in the borough)
  • juvenile Dunnock in private garden (AT)

South Park:

  • Swift over
  • 2 male Pochard, lots of Tufted Duck, Mallard, Canada Geese, Coots and Moorhen
  • (1 Moorhen with 3 chicks)
  • Mute Swan on nest
  • Kingfisher fishing
  • Stock Dove, Collared Doves, Wood Pigeons and loads of Feral Pigeons
  • Greenfinch, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Blackbird, Robin, Wren, Starlings
  • Great Spotted Woodpecker
  • 1 Cormorant fishing

Valentines Park:

  • 5 broods of Mallard ducklings on the small lake
  • 2 Male Pochard,
  • Little Grebe
  • Great Spotted Woodpecker (heard)
  • pair of Mistle Thrush
  • Pied Wagtail

South Woodford:

  • Little Egret over Tescos at Charlie Browns Roundabout (16.30)

Woodford Green:

  • Mistle Thrush on the playuing field by Broadmead estate.
