Snaresbrook, Snaresbrook School:
- 14 Waxwing in the cherry tree outside my office 10.30 this morning, (first time I have ever seen then, and first time there has been any at this site). Unfortunately one of them flew into the school window and died instantly (John Snow)

- 2m Wigeon (R Roding), 4 Teal (m on Roding + 3 f The Dell), 52 Pochard, 32 Tufted Duck, 14 Gadwall, 10 Shoveler, 8 Mute Swan, 3 Little Grebe, 2 Grey Heron,
- 3 Siskin, 4 Lesser Redpoll, 4 + Goldcrest,
- 3 Fieldfare, 4 + Redwing (NC)
Woodford Green garden; 4 great spotted woodpecker (3m, 1f) with much fluffing of feathers between them, 4 jackdaw, 1 jay, 10 greenfinch, 5 goldfinch, 1 coal tit, blue and great tits, 1 wren, 3 chaffinch, 2 blackbird, 3 dunnock, 2 carrion crow and 4 magpies.
