Fairlop Gravel Works:
- 2 juvenline Mute Swan, 3 Greylag Geese and a small skein of Canada Geese over, also a few Mallard over.
- few Coot on the ice (north side, Painters Road)
- c70 Lapwing in a few small groups, the main group was in the meadow with 16 Golden Plover, 2 Jack Snipe and c6 Snipe
- few Meadow Pipits, 1 Skylark 1 Linnet and 1 Goldfinch moving around
- Sparrowhawk perched on a small bush, then flew to the mound and sat pon the ground for a while.
- 1 Little Egret over (west)
- Gulls were mostly Black Headed with a few Common Gulls
- flock of about 200 Fieldfare and Redwing
- Also: Wood pigeon, 2 Grey Wagtails (east), Pied Wagtail, Robin, Starlings, House Sparrows, Chaffinch, Blue Tit, Great Tits, Blackbird, Great Spotted Woodpecker heard (2), Green Woodpecker, Jay heard, Pheasant (heard) and tracks seen.
- 2 Brown Hare, Fox, Rabbits (Daniel EH/Mike Condon/Alan Hobson)
- 2 Goosander still present (1 female was near the wooded island, the other presumed male, flew to the otehr side of the lake, and could not be relocated).
- 6 Mute Swan, 100+ Canada Geese in to roost with over 10 Greylags, Mallard, c20 Tufted Duck (none of which looked anything like a Scaup hybrid today), 6 Shoveler, 3 Teal (2m, 1f), 6 Gadwall, (4m, 2f),
- 100+ Coot, few Moorhen
- 6 Little Grebe (no Great Crested Grebes)
- Gulls were mostly Black Headed Gulls, Common Gulls were less Common!.. few Lesser Black Backed too.
- c10 Lapwing on the gravelled island, 1 Snipe flushed from the bank near the clubhouse
- Skylark over, Meadow Pipit too
- Redwing scattered, Blackbird, Robin, 2 Song Thrush (DEH/Alan Hobson/Mike Condon/Bob Jenner)
- Bullfinch on arrival, (2nd was heard calling later)
- 4 Little Egret over (west), 3 together, and 1 singleton
- 4 Snipe flushed from a brook near the stables (south end)
- Sparrowhawk over the stables
- 12 Skylark (south), 10 Meadow Pipit by the horse manure pile)
- 2 male Yellowhammers,
- 2 Greenfinch, few Goldfinch and Chaffinch
- Lesser Black Backed, Black Headed and Herring Gulls flying by
- Great Spotted Woodpecker, probably 3 Green Woodpecker (certainly 2)
- Long Tailed Tit flock (6+), Blue Tits, Great Tits, 3 Wren, 2 Dunnock, 2 Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Jackdaw (heard), Carrion crow, Magpie, few Jay, Woodpigeon, Collared Dove, Pheasant
- 50+ Redwing, and less Fieldfare
- Muntjac and Red Deer tracks seen, and an actual Fox (MC/AH/DEH)
- Coal Tit still present daily, 8 Blue tits, 3 Great tits, 7 House Sparrows, 4 Chaffinches, 5 Greenfinches, 5 Goldfinches, 3 Blackbirds, 1 Dunnock, 1 Robin, 1 Male Great Spotted Woodpecker, Magpie, 6 Starlings, 6 Feral Pigeons (AThomas)
- Lapwing near Forest road (AHobson)
- 2 blackbird, 6 starling, 2 blue tit, 1 great tit, 2 long-tailed tits, 1 robin, 1 wren (first one seen for months), 1 carrion crow. 2 juvenile common gulls (on roof of house opposite). (MSevoir)

- 3 Meadow Pipit, Grey Wagtail,, 4 Mistle Thrush, 12 Redwing (north), 20+ Blackbird, Fieldfare (north), 2 Skylark (s), Siskin, 4 Chaffinch, 10+ Goldfinch, (east), 20 Lesser Redpoll, Reed Bunting, 2 Cormorant, 150+ Wood Pigeon (south), Green and Great Spot Woodpecker, 2 Ring Necked Parakeet (NC)
- 43 + Pochard, 44 Tufted Duck, 46 + Gadwall, 6 Shoveler, 6 Little Grebe, 3 Grey Heron, 7+ Goldcrest, Coal Tit, 20 + Redwing, Song Thrush, Siskin, Goldfinch, Snipe (south), Green and Great Spot Woopecker, 10+ Ring Necked Parakeet, 2 Sparrowhawk (NC)
