South Woodford:
- 2 big events this morning - Firstly a blue tit was inspecting the nest box and pecking around the hole - 2 months earlier than last year! Secondly, as I left the house a sparrowhawk flew low right past me and then up over the house over the road. After years of seeing sparrowhawks around here this was the first time I've actually seen one with a catch!! A sparrow. (PGordon)

- 10 Lesser Redpoll, 16 Siskin, 13+ Goldcrest, 6 Redwing, 2 Song Thrush, 3 f Teal, 15 Shoveler, 49 Tufted Duck, 53 Gadwall, 49 Pochard, 2 Egyptian Goose, 2 Little Grebe, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Pied Wagtail, Coal Tit, 2 Cormorant, m Sparrowhawk (NC).
- Tesco Woodford Green - Sitting in the Rowan tree by the entrance, 1 Fieldfare feeding. (Emma Charles)
