  • female Goosander on the boating lake, up nr the smaller island by the boats (Tony Leaderman)
Gants Hill, Roll Gardens:

  • Male Sparrowhawk -seen at 10.32am in neighbours tree before flying over our garden on the hunt.

  • 6 Lesser Redpoll, 10 Siskin, Tufted Duck, Pochard, Gadwall, 4 Teal, Shoveler, 2 Egyptian Goose, 2 Canada Goose, 4 Grey Heron, Coal Tit, Goldcrest, 3 singing Song Thrush. Water Rail, 13 Redwing (didn't bother to count ducks as the Wren Group were on hand to do the math, NC). Peregrine Falcon (over the old allotments), Woodcock (the plain), Grey Wagtail (River Roding) - (Mike Messenger's contribution to this year's patch list).
Woodford:

  • 12:15 1 great spotted woodpecker, 6 blue tits, 2 green finch, 5 goldfinch, 2 siskins and 2 redpoll on feeders in garden. (Dean Area51)
