South Woodford:
  • Jay flying over St. Aubyns School at 7.20am this morning (DEH)

Woodford Bridge:

  • Scrubland and Playing Field on Roding Lane North
  • Sparrowhawk, Pied Wagtail, Goldfinch, 2 Common Gulls (Alan Hobson)

Woodford Green:

  • Chiffchaff singing in a tree on Broadmead estat at 5pm (DEH)

Roding Valley Park, Woodford Bridge northward:

  • Grey Heron on the river
  • 10+ Mallards, 5 Moorhen
  • 8 Canada Geese over (low) in a V formation
  • Kingfisher, 'flushed' by my dog!
  • Grey Wagtail
  • Carrion Crows, Magpies, 3 Jays
  • Song Thrush, loads of Blackbirds, Robins and Wrens
  • Dunnock in the reeds at the new pond
  • 17 Redwing in the tall trees adjacent to the north end of Ray Park, moving about in the treetops.
  • Great Spotted Woodpecker
  • Greenfinch, Blue Tit
Roding Valley Park, Woodford Bridge Southward:
  • 2 Kingfishers, (one on the River, and one on the private fishing lake, near the Roding Lane North entrance) (Alan Hobson)
Claybury Park:
  • Redwing, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Jays (AHobson)

Barkingside:

  • Green Woodpecker in Ilford County High School (Nigel May)
