Fairlop Gravel Works:

  • 28 Shoveler, 30 Tufted Duck, 10 Gadwall, 8 Pochard, male Shelduck
  • female Garganey (south side Painters Road)
  • 4 Little Grebe, including 2 trilling (north side)
  • 2 Green Sandpiper, 5 Snipe

Fairlop, Aldborough Riding School:

  • 2 Little Owls in their tree
  • 1 appeared at 5.45pm, the second was present by 6pm, and shortly after they were seen copulating (my 6 year old nephew now thinks babies are made by climbing on your wifes head)
  • Green Woodpecker (DEH)

Ilford, Perth Road:

  • Pied Wagtail

Roding Valley Park, north:

  • Little Egret (Tajinder Lachhar)

Wanstead Park:

  • Red Kite over north end of Wanstead Park - being harried by a crow - flying from east to west at 3.30 (Paul Ferris)

Woodford Green, The Green:

  • Pied Wagtail, Wood Pigeons, Robin (ECharles)

Woodford Green, Holly Crescent: (Just outside the borough)

  • Redwing on the green

Woodford Green, Oak Hill: (Just outside the borough)
