Fairlop Waters:

• Oystercatcher on the island on the main lake (Steve Bacon)
• 2 Common Tern flying North East (SB)

Wanstead Flats:

• 2 Whitethroat singing near Alexandra Lake (Paul Ferris)
• 2 Little Grebes on Alexandra Lake (PF)
• 1 Song Thrush near Alexandra Lake
• 2 Wheatear, 3 male Reed Bunting (S Fisher)
• 1 Yellow Wagtail over (north) at 6.30am (SF)
• probable White Wagtail over (SF)
• 1 male Stonechat flew east from the copse (SF)
• 6 Swallows through (SF)

Wanstead Park:

• 2 Willow Warbler in the park, and a 3rd in the Sewage Works
• 2 Sand Martin over Heronry Pond
• lots of Chiffchaffs and Blackcap (Paul Ferris)

Aldersbrook: (just outside the borough)

• Lesser Whitethroat in Alders Brook, just opposite Ilford Golf Course (PF)

South Woodford:

• Grey Heron flying low over South Woodford (Peter Gordon)
