Bush Wood:
- female Great Spotted Woodpecker, Mistle Thrush, Stock Dove
- 2 Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff (Jonathan Lethbridge)
Roding Valley Park:
- from Woodford Bridge to Luxborough Lane
- 1 Little Egret from the river to the treetops.
- 1 Grey Heron
- Moorhens and Mallards on the river (mostly male Mallards)
- Carrion Crows, Magpies and a pair of Jay
- Heard a Grey Wagtail
- Also heard Song Thrush, Pheasant, Chiffchaff and Blackcap
- Linnet, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit
- 1 Cormorant flying up river.
Fairlop Gravel Works:
- brief 8pm visit.
- Little Ringed Plover, 2 Redshank, 2 Lapwing, Green Sandpiper
- Shelduck.
- Several Pheasant
- 1 Black Headed Gull with injured foot, having trouble taking off, landing and walking.
- 2 Grey Heron on the site
- 1 Cormorant (over)
- 30+ Pied Wagtails flying in to roost.
- Chiffchaff calling somewhere in the direction of Hargreaves Scout Camp
- Also: Mute Swan, Canada Goose, Mallard, Moorhen, Blackbird, Robin, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Wood Pigeon.
Wanstead Flats:
- Ring Ousel on the northern end in the evening (S Fisher)
Ilford:
- Observer was 'dive bombed' by 3 very ferocious Goldfinches in her garden in Ilford! (MS)
