I'm afraid my Grebe obsession continues! All well on the Valentines Boating Lake today- I soon tracked down the chick under an oak tree, actually being silent for once, as he relaxed and occasionally stretched out his legs! He later went out into the lake to fish and started cheeping again... I saw one of the adults- well away from the chick. The Cormorant was on the same boat again- and also fishing up by the island-and the Heron was on his bank on the island as usual.
