Gants Hill, Roll Gardens:
- Sparrowhawk - female seen at 12.23pm hunting over back gardens not sure if it was successful after I saw it dive bomb behind some trees presumably it's meal.
- Fledglings lots of i.e.: House Sparrows (many), Blue tits (many), Great tits & Greenfinches, Starlings (many) Magpies, woodpigeons and not forgetting Robin fledgling too all in our garden at the moment.
- Still awaiting Great Spotted Woodpecker, Wren, Dunnock, Chaffinch, Blackbird& Goldfinch fledglings to make an appearance over the coming weeks if last year was anything to go by, which turned out to best ever from our garden. (AThomas)

- 3 Little Grebe (2 fishing lake, 1 baoting lake, 2 Great Crested grebes nr nest
- 2 Swans on Fish Pond, family of 2 + 8 Cygnets on Boating Lake
- 3 Grey Heron Chicks (2 in nest, one nearby), with 1 sleeping parent
- 1 hybrid Greylag, Canada Geese, Mallards, 2 female Pochard, Tufted Ducks,
- 1 Egyptian Goose first seen standing sentinal, then on the boating lake
- Moorhen, Coot
- Woodpigeon, Feral Pigeon, 2 Stock Dove, Collared Dove
- 7 Swift
- 4 Great Spotted Woodpecker ( 3 along Cranbrook Cut, another in the plantation)
- 2 Green Woodpecker
- Wren, 2 singing male Dunnock in the Dell, Robin, Blackbird, Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush,
- Blue Tit, Great Tit, 5 Long Tailed Tit,
- Magpie, Carion Crow, Starling, 5 House Sparrow
- Chaffinch, 2 male Greenfinch, 3 Goldfinch (Mike Condon/U3A Birding Group)
Wanstead Flats:
- 08:00-11:00:
- male + 1 young Lesser Spotted Woodpecker,
- Little Owl,
- Coot with 6 chicks on round pond (also 1 Moorhen there too),
- 13 Cormorant, 13 Lesser Black-Backed Gull, 1 adult Herring Gull,
- 4 singing Chiffchaff, 4 Blackcap, numerous Whitethroat,
- 6+ Mistle Thrush, Song Thrush, Blackbird, Robin,
- Chaffinch, Greenfinch,
- 2 male Reed Bunting
- Jay, Jackdaw, Magpie, Carrion Crow,

Wanstead, Windsor Road:
- Goldcrest with 2 fledged young in the yew tree at the bottom of the garden (JL)
