• Quick visit only - so much birdsong, didnt know where to start!

• 3 Song Thrush
• Woodpigeon, Collared Dove, Carrion Crow
• Blackbird
• Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap, Chiffchaff
• 3 Cuckoo
• Swift over
• Pheasant
• 2 Green Woodpecker, Great Spptted Woodpecker

Ilford garden:

• Baby Bird fest in the garden:
• 1 imm dunnock, 1 imm robin
• goldfinch family (4 + adults)
• 2nd brood of blue tits (4 + adults)
• great tit family (3 + adults)
• young starlings (lots) (Brenda J)

Valentines Park:

• 2 Little Grebe on the fish pond, 2 Great Crested Grebe on the Boating Lake around their nest
• Grey Heron family
• Cormorant
• Mute Swan family (2ad, 8 cygnets) on the boating lake, another adult on Long Water
• Canada Geese, 1 Greylag Goose hybrid, 1 Egyptian Goose
• Mallard, 2 Pochard, Tufted Ducks, Coot, Moorhen
• 1 Black Headed Gull
• Feral pigeons, Woodpigeons, 1 Stock Dove grazing on Melbourne field, Collared Dove
• 6 Swift
• Great Spotted Woodpecker
• 3 Pied Wagtail on Ilford bowling green club

• Goldcrest by the waterfall of Fish Pond

Wanstead Flats:

• Little Owl (DBarrett)

Wanstead Park:

• Mute Swan (Heronry: ads and 8 goslings; Shoulder of Mutton: adults and 7 goslings)
• Little Grebe (2 on Heronry, 2 on Shoulder of Mutton), Great Crested Grebe (2 on Perch)
• Little Egret (on the banks of the Roding)
• Buzzard (being harassed by gulls over old sewage works)
• Reed Warbler (singing furiously at Shoulder of Mutton)
• Also plenty of newly fledged Blue Tits, Long-tailed Tits (WREN via THarris)
