Latest Sightings:
2010:
- January 21st - 5 seen flying North East over Wanstead Flats
- February 12th-21st - 1 (Dark Bellied) at Fairlop Waters with the Canada Geese (on the field to the east of the fishing lake)
- Brent Geese are reported as having been present at least five times at Hainault Forest pre 2003 by the late Mr. Mike Dennis.
- An Adult Brent Goose was present at Fairlop Waters on the 29th January 1991, and a first winter bird was in the area during Spring 1991 seen at Fairlop Waters, Hainault Forest as well as in Chigwell and Buckhurst Hill
