Roding Valley Park, South Woodford:
- 3 Little Egret! I've never seen more than 1 there before so 3 is pretty good.
- 1 Sparrowhawk being chased by a Crow - came out of some bushes right in front of me when I was looking at some finches in a bush (probably what the hawk had been doing before the Crow chased it away..)
- 1 Chiffchaff .
- No sign of the Water Rails...
- Then all the usuals - Mallards, Tufted duck (still there 3 weeks on), Blackbirds, Wrens, Long Tailed tits, Great tits, Blue tits, Pair of Jays, Magpies, Crows, Robins, Moorhens, Chaffinches, Pair of Goldfinch, Woodpigeons, Starlings, Feral pigeon building a nest, (Peter Gordon)
