- Canada Geese numebrs picking up, and Mallard too.
- c20 Tufted Duck, c20 Pochard, 5 Shoveler, 69+ Teal, 6+ Little Grebe, Coot, Moorhen
- 70+ Lapwing, 2 Green Sandpiper, Snipe
- 7 Meadow Pipit (plus a distant flock of 50+ that assumed were Mipits too, but couldnt confirm),
- 8 Linnet
- 10 Stock Dove
Valentines Park:
- 3 Great Crested Grebe (2 adult, 1 juv), 3 Little Grebe (2 adult, 1 juv), 3 Cormorant on the boating lake
- 12 Mute Swan still, 1 hybrid Greylag Goose, Canada Geese, Mallards, few Tufted Ducks, 3 eclipse Shoveler (fish pond), 4 Pochard, (2 prs on the Boating lake), Coot, Moorhen, 4 Egyptian Geese on Long Water
- 1 Kestrel being mobbed
- Black Headed Gulls, 1 Lesser Black Backed Gull, 2 COmmon Gulls,
- Feral Pigeons, Woodpigeons, 3 Stock Dove,
- also: Pied Wagtail, Blackbird, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, 12 Long Tailed Tit (bushes nr clock tower), Jay, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Starling, 2 House Sparrow (Brisbane Road), 1 male Greenfinch (Mike COndon)
Wanstead Flats:
- singing Lesser Whitethroat (confused me for about half an hour),
- 10+ Chiffchaff (3 singers), 1 Blackcap, Goldcrest,
- Stonechat, 5 Song Thrush, 20+ Mistle Thrush, Spotted Flycatcher,
- Little Owl,
- 2 Little Egrets (over east), Grey Heron,
- 16 Meadow Pipit (10 in 1 group), Pied Wagtail, 6 Grey Wagtail (west),
- 2 Linnet, Chaffinch, 16+ Skylark (again 10 in one flight),
- Also: 2 Pochard, 4 Gadwall, 11 Mute Swan on a training flight, Little Grebe, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, 5 Ring Necked Parakeet, 2 Common Gull (NC).
- 2 Ring Ousel and 2 Spotted Flycatcher later (JLethbridge)
