Just to say all well with the Valentines Great Crested Grebes today- adults still rotating sitting on the three eggs in the nest, duckling still endlessly demanding to be fed. Here is one pic of the Alien-like chick in the process of climbing off its parent's back... I've got to leave for a long weekend away tomorrow, so will be getting Grebe-withdrawal symptoms...
