- Nightingale! - couldn't see it but heard it. it must have been deep in a bush/tree because i stood around for a while trying to see it and it was in full song.
- also: Blackcap, Little Egret, jay, 2 long tailed tits, 2 greenfinches, whitethroat, song thrush (PGordon)
- Redbridge section: 4 (family of) Grey Wagtail, 2 ads and juv Garden Warbler, 5 Stock Dove, Linnet, 12 Whitethroat, 30 Long-tailed Tit, 1 ad 2 juv Sparrowhawks, 15+ Swift (S Fisher)
Valentines Park:
- 4 Little Grebe (1 adult with 3 young), 3 Great Crested Grebe (pr with 1 chick) all on the boating lake
- 1 Grey Heron (baoting lake)
- 12 Mute Swans, (1 pr, with 8 cygnets still on the boating lake, 2 on Fish Pond)
- 1 hybrid Greylag, c50 Canada Geese by long water.
- pr Egyptian Geese on Boating Lake island (no sign of ducklings, but hopefully sleeping there out of sight)
- 1 male Shoveler in eclipse plumage
- Tufted Duck, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, c60 Black Headed Gulls (numbers starting to pick up)
- Feral Pigeon, 1 Stock Dove, Wood Pigeon, Collared Dove,
- 6 Swift
- Great Spotted Woodpecker, 3 Green Woodpecker,
- Pied Wagtail on the Cricket pitch
- Wren, 2 Dunnock, several Mistle Thrush, Song Thrush singing in the American Wood, Blackbird, Robin, Great Tit, Blue Tits
- c15 Long Tailed Tits in the American Wood (most reported here)
- Carrion Crow, Magpie, Starling, 4 House Sparrow, 3 Chaffinch, 3 Greenfinch, 2 Goldfinch (Mike Condon)
- 2 Shelduck (s over Alexandra Lake),
- 1 Lapwing (circled round Alex before deciding to leave it),
- 3 Hobby (1 west, just south of Alex, 2 circling and exchanging food over Alex),
- 3 Sparrowhawk (and 1 less starling),
- Kestrel,
- 60 Cormorant, 6 Grey Heron, 21 Ring-necked Parakeet, c.50+ Black-headed Gull, 17 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Greater Black-backed Gull, 2 Common Gull, 4 Herring Gull,
- 10+ Mistle Thrush (Jono had 14 in one part of the flats), Song Thrush, Robin, Blackbird,
