- This morning there was a Jay drinking from a water tray on the ground in our garden – first for our garden in Ingleby Road. (JCrick)
South Woodford, garden:
- Still no Blue Tit news...it's been 15 days now since I first noticed 4 or 5 eggs and the normal time span is 12-16 days.
- Grey Heron very low over the garden early this morning - lower than roof height and there are no ponds nearby I know of. Although the river is close. (Peter Gordon)

Wanstead Flats:
- pair of Lesser Spotted Woodpecker copulating in the usual place (lol)
- c20 Whitethroat including 11 territorial males and 8 males on territory in SSSI alone (THarris)
Wanstead Park:
- Little Egret,
- 2 singing Goldcrest from suburban gardens,
- 1 Buzzard SW persued by Crow 15.55 (S Fisher)
