• 2 Little Egrets seen on the west bank of the River Roding between Redbridge and Charlie Browns Roundabout at 7.30am, spooked by a dog walker with Spaniel on the east bank. (AWilkinson)

• singing Blackcap
• Chiffchaff
• pairs of Pochard, Great Crested Grebe and Greylag Goose on the boating lake
• Grey Herons sharing the incubation of their eggs. (PHopkins)
