- 23 Carrion Crow (in wood off Groveside road)

- 11 Blue tit, 10 Great tit, Coal Tit
- 1 Jay, 2 Magpie
- 4m 1f Mallard (on river Ching)
- 1 Great spotted woodpecker

Roding Valley Park, Central:- scrubland/playing fields off Roding Lane North:
- Lesser Black Backed Gull
- Song Thrush

- Private Fishing Lake: Grey Heron

Valentines Park:
- Black-headed gulls (very few now), Herring gulls (2)
- Great crested grebe (2), Little grebe (1) - with big fish!
- Mallards, Tufted ducks, Pochard (only 1m)

- Mute swans (4 - pair on long water and pair on boating lake), Canada geese, Greylag hybrid

- plenty of singing Chiffchaffs
- at least 5 singing Blackcaps
- 1 singing Willow Warbler (by Perch)
- 4 Linnets (old sewage works)
- 2 Stock Doves (old sewage works)
- no sign of the Water Rail ... (Tim Harris)
- Swallow over

Connaught Water: (just outside the borough)- 2 Egyptian Geese
