Gants Hill:

• House Martins - 5 seen flying over back gardens area for just under a minute as I got a good look with my bins picking of insects - A first for over back gardens in our area.
• Sparrowhawk - Female on a reckkie past my garden then eventually flying away elsewhere.
• Great Spotted Woodpecker - Male still present.
• House Sparrows - 14+ around garden & feeders.
• Greenfinches - c12 Mixture of (J&A) some on water feature & most around feeders.
• Chaffinches - c10 around feeders & feeding from ground.
• Goldfinch - One adult feeding.
• Blue & Great tits - Many Blue tits flying around picking of insects & roughly 4 Great tits seen feeding on feeders.
• Plus - 5 Starlings, 4 Magpies, 2 Blackbirds (M&F), 2 Dunnocks, 2 Robin's (J&A), 1 Collared Dove & 6 Feral pigeons. (Alan Thomas)
