Gants Hill:

• Sparrowhawk - Female seen at 10.37am trying to catch a Greenfinch amongst tree branches & also trying to catch a Blue tit once it missed the Greenfinch but unfortunately with no luck on either occasion.
• Great Spotted Woodpeckers - Male present & Immature female present.
• House Sparrows - 14+ around garden & feeders.
• Greenfinches - c9 seen mixture (J&A).
• Chaffinches - c11 seen flying around garden catching insects & feeding fromfeeders.
• Goldfinches - One Juvenile & one adult in tree.
• Blue & Great tits - Lots of Blue tits flying around & c5 Great tits ingarden.
• Plus - 7 Starlings, 4 Magpies, 2 Blackbirds (M&F), 2 Dunnocks, 2 Robins(J&A), 1 Collared Dove, 1 Woodpigeon & 9 Feral pigeons.
• Ps - No sighting of Coal tit today unfortunately!

• Redstart,
• Spotted Flycatcher,
• 2 Whinchat,
• Little Egret,
• Kingfisher (Alan Bell)

Roding Valley Park:

• Kingfisher (showing particularly well),
• 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcaps (male and female),
• 2 Jays, flock of Long-tailed Tits,
• Kestrel (Alan Hobson)

Wanstead Flats:

• 7 Spotted Flycatchers,
• 1 imm Redstart,
• 3 Whinchat,
• 8 Blackcap,
• 1 Hobby over (S Fisher)

Epping Forest, New Road, Woodford:

• Great Spotted Woodpecker (D Messer)
