As the small private lake and the majority of the lagoon and the fishing lake were frozen... The ducks were not all in their 'usual' places...
Some of the Gadwall, that are usually all on the fishing lake, had moved onto the main lake; Some of the Teal, that are normally on the private pond or the lagoon, were on the fishing lake... standing on the ice... and there were also quite a few Teal on the quarry pond on Hainault Road. The Little Grebes that are normally on the private pond on the farm had moved onto the main lake.
