Hainault Forest:

• Pheasant. (spotted while driving down Romford Road)

Fairlop Waters:

• 300+ Lapwing, spread really thin all over the farmland, quarry, and even on the 5 a side football pitches.
• Kestrel hunting above Hainault Road.

South Park:

• 2 Mute Swans, 25 Canada Geese and loads of Gulls on the frozen lake.
• Mistle Thrush making a lot of noise in South Park Primary School Green.

Wanstead Park:

• Red Crested Pochard pair still on Heronry Pond. (PF)
• 30 Male Pochard on Heronry Pond. (PF)
• Greater Spotted Woodpecker near Pump House. (PF)
