• 7 Goldfinches discovered the nyjer seed feeder in a garden off Tomswood Hill today! (Eddie Barnes)

Woodford Bridge:

• Sparrowhawk (male) landed in a tree right outside my flat! Very good views. (Alan Hobson)

Wanstead Park:

• Wanstead Park: female Goldeneye still present but no other storm-assisted waifs (J Lethbridge).

Woodford Green:

• 2 Mistle Thrushes active on Broadmead Estate this morning at 7.30am

Mayesbrook Park: (just outside the borough)

• 2 Chiffchaff, Meadow Pipit, Grey Wagtail, Little Egret, 35 Gadwall, 8 Pochard, 3 Little Grebe, 2 Cormorant (Paul Hawkins).
