Wanstead Flats:
- Woodcock west end of Flats early AM (S Fisher);
- Firecrest Reservoir Wood, east end of Wanstead Park (T Harris, N Croft),
- female Goldeneye still present on Heronry Pond - first record since 1985 (SF, PF, JL et al);
- 25 Fieldfare in Old Sewage Works,
- 8+ Ring Necked Parakeet on Rook Island, (J Lethbridge).
- Grey Wagtail was by the hut. (Sally Hammond)
- 2 Kingfishers (one showed really well for a long time),
- 2 Green Woodpeckers, 2 Greater Spotted Woodpeckers, Jay, Jackdaws, Carrion Crows, etc etc. (Sally Hammond)
- over 100 Gulls on the flooded football field on Braodmead Estate including Lesser Black Backed Gulls, Herring Gulls, Common Gulls and Black Headed Gulls
- after the heavy rains, 2 adult Mute Swan (rarely seen in this stretch as it is usually so shallow)
- Sparrowhawk being harassed by a crow (Eddie Barnes)
- 4 Corn Buntings,
- 40 Linnets,
- Grey Wagtail,
- 4 Chiffchaffs,
- Green Sandpiper (AABrown)
