Peregrine Falcon! 1st ever sighting and I saw it twice for longish periods. Firstly over the scrubland area and then landing on a pylon. Then again by the river also on a pylon, it flew to another pylon and appeared to be eating something. After about 10 minutes some crows mobbed it and it flew off.
Also - Pair of Coots, also the first time I've seen Coots on the river at that section, pair of Swans and a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers. Others: Fieldfare, Redwing, Lesser Black Backed, Herring gull, Black Headed gull, Wrens, Robins, Jays, Magpies, Crows, Great, Blue and Long Tailed tits, Blackbirds, Song thrushes, Mallards, lots of Moorhens (Peter Gordon)
